What began as an ordinary day near a quiet rural reservoir turned into a life-or-death drama. A young calf had strayed too close to the edge and slipped into the deep water below. The steep concrete walls offered no chance of escape. Exhausted and terrified, the calf struggled in vain, its strength fading fast.
